The main character is a vampire, as are most of the other characters, although there are some mortal humans, animals, demons, shadow creatures and an angel scattered in there, too!

The story is set predominantly in Devon, England. There are flashbacks to London, and they also end up in another location in England, but you'll have to read it to see where.

3:

Emmeline has pink hair that never needs to be dyed, makeup that never needs to be applied and an extensive colourful shoe collection. Lucky thing!

4:

Emmeline's interests include vintage fashion, public transport, solitude and NO surprises.

5:

It has been a year since I started writing this novel, it's taken a whole year for me to write as much as I have. I'm just over half way through, it's a long but lovely process!
